Internationals
We are looking forward to welcoming Guides from Staffordshire, the UK and from around the world to Unity 2026.
Unity has hosted many different international contingents over the years.
The camp fees are the same for all attendees which can be found in key details. However International Groups can choose to pay an additional fee of £150 per person which will cover the cost of catering and tent hire provided by their host group.
All international attendees are responsible for their travel to and from the camp as well as any pre or post camp programme they wish to do. Home hospitality will not be available for Unity 2026.
Any Unity communications from International Units must go through our international team who can be contacted at international@unitycamp.org.uk
Support for International Groups
In preparation for Unity 2026, our International Team will work with all international groups and individuals to ensure a smooth visit to Unity 2026.
We will link international groups up with a host group from the UK. This link before, during and after camp can really enhance the Unity experience for both groups involved. As travelling from outside the UK brings with it challenges with bringing equipment to Unity, we aim to link international groups with a unit that can offer support in providing additional tents, other equipment and catering meaning international groups don’t need to bring quite so much.
During the camp, international units and their linked UK units often camp as one big happy family. This enables both participants and the leaders to bond and build long lasting friendships. Our International Team will also be available throughout the camp for any additional support.
Before you begin planning for Unity 2026, we request that all international groups read our International Links Policy. This explains how the Unity International Team can support you in relation to the formal requirements such as who can attend, VISAs, limit of responsibilities and more.
Hosting an International Group
We are looking forward to welcoming international Guides from around the world to Unity 2026 and we’re looking for some of our UK units to connect with these international groups to support their trips.
Linking with an international group usually entails bringing additional equipment, tents and other resources to camp to assist the international groups including providing catering so they don’t need to. If you would be interested in hosting an international group complete this form. The International Team will then be in contact with you to understand what support and resources each UK group would be able to offer and then pair these with requirements of the international groups.
International Staff Members
If you wish to attend Unity as a member of the Service Team or Staff Team then our International Team as well as your Team Leader (depending on your volunteer role) will be able to support you in your planning for attending and volunteering at Unity 2026.
Before you begin planning for Unity 2026, we request that all international attendees read our International Links Policy. This explains how the Unity International Team can support you in relation to the formal requirements such as who can attend, VISAs, limit of responsibilities and more.
